Digital camera Review: Does not work with Droid X without extra parts

I wanted a corded headset. This was stocked by Amazon and had good reviews. One review sent me down the wrong path: 'Comes with 2.5mm for phones and works with 3.5mm computers via USB'. Well, OK, true. That's a neat feature. But, I guess smartphones are also 3.5mm adapters.
So, I got it and sighed as I realized I have a 3.5mm adapter on my Droid. I tried to buy the adapter but they are all $8 or more and every one of them seems to have a review saying they have issues.
Overall -- I think the product looks nice and it would probably be a nice headset. But, I'm going to try to find one that includes the 3.5 or comes standard with it.

"Fits most mobile phones" - except of course a Blackberry. The jack is the wrong size and won't work with my phone. So after spending 15 minutes trying to get the thing out of the plastic packaging I realize it won't work for me. I recently acquired a Magic Jack (MagicJack) internet phone device. It works reasonable well. However, I plan to use it when I travel (particularly abroad). Thus I needed a lightweight portable phone. Not being particularly knowledgeable about telephone devices that connect through USB, I had great difficulty finding a suitable earpiece. I finally found (in a drawer)an old USB headphone. It worked reasonably well, but was cumbersome to carry in my briefcase - wire and headpiece too large. Looking for an alternative I stumbled across the MX500i. It worked very well. Plugged it in and presto I had clear voice communication (better than my old device). I found the earpiece to be comfortable. My major reason for writing this review (I really have little to add to other reviews) is that this may be available through a web search to others who use Magic Jack so they don't have to spend inordinate amounts of time finding this or similar device (hint to Magic Jack, please put some information of this type on your web site!).Digital camera Review: Easy and Great

I bought this to use with a corded phone. (finding a reasonable priced corded phone was tough). I can use this headset with my cordless phone, my cell phone and my corded phone (panasonic KX TS105B) It is simple, just plug and play. The ear bud rotates left and right. The mic (mouth piece) rotates and moves up and down (it is stiff, so it stays put and doesn't flop around) You can absolutely use it on either the left or right side. Because of my use, age, etc.. I would perfer a duo ear headset. But the ones with volume control are sooooo pricey. This MX500i is simple, light weight, comfortable, and versatile. Being able to use it in the car "hands free" with my cell phone is a real plus. I saved money buying it from Amazon. The plantronics site is pricey. I did a lot of research on various headsets for my VOIP service (Skype, Google Talk) and I am very pleased with this headset. The sound is great and the device is comfortable to wear. With a little configuration on my computer, I found the headset to be a great choice. Thanks.
