This scanner is a wonderfully handy device to have. It was exceedingly simple to setup and begin using. I had it up and running within 15 minutes of receiving it. The scan choices are numerous and the quality and speed are great. This is geared for documents and does a nice job of scanning them in text, OCR, photo or file. The software is very simple and easy to understand. This does not replace a flatbed scanner for photos and more in depth items, but if you are looking for a quick, clean way to scan documents into your computer, I highly recommend this one!

Plustek MobileOffice D28 Sheetfed Scanner The D28 is an ultra-compact, high-speed color duplex scanner. Unlike other compact scanners, the solidly built D28 scans letter-sized documents in a mere 2.2 seconds. Designed to scan both documents up to legal size and plastic ID cards, the D28 can be used to capture all the information you need right at the point of transaction. For ease of use, nine scanning presets can be custom programmed for different applications or even multiple users. The entire scanning process is then as simple as selecting a preset and pressing the simplex or duplex scan button. Tasks such as creating PDF files and storing or sending them become completely automated processes. You can even pre-program commonly used functions such as scan-to-mail or scan, OCR and open text in a desired application, all with one press of a button.Digital Cameras
