Digital camera Review: Great sound, corrosion issues.

We have put our speakers to use now for 1.5 years. We live about a block from the beach, so the environment these speakers must perform in is challening. This is exactly why I purchased these over the competitors' products.
The sound quality remains excellent, but corrosion on the posts is a problem. I've had to clean the posts with steel wool three time and the caps are currently stuck on one set.
Overall, we are happy with the product, but the corrosion problems on the posts needs to be addressed.

Bought these speakers to have some music for my pool in the backyard and used them for a couple months this summer. They sound great and don't get distorted at high volumes. I mounted them under the eave of the roof and installation was pretty easy. The mounting bracket lets you tilt the speaker to where you want the sound. I'd recommend these to anybody looking for a nice set of outdoor speakers.Digital camera Review: Great speakers

The sound is great from these speakers. The bass is what I was worried about since I have a 3/4 acre back yard with virtually no trees or structures to bounce off of. Securing them under the eave of the house was all I needed. Oh, and they crank out too!
The only issue I had was the hangers, they only swivel longitudinally, but the big wing nuts to attach the speaker to them made it very easy to mount 20 feet up.

Speakers sound great, look great. But be aware if you have to send in one of the speakers in for repair it's a terrible process. One of the mid-range drivers broke in one of the speakers. I called, packaged up the speaker and sent it in to the Polk Audio service center. I called 2 weeks later and asked the status, the guy said he has no idea where the speaker is. Then told me there are two palates of speakers that have to be worked on still. Apparently they have one guy that fixes all of their speakers. It's now been 3 weeks and I still don't have my broken speaker back.
But the speakers do sound terrific when they work, hence the 4 stars.
