Good battery but because not original Canon part, it sticks a bit but with very little effort, it comes out. Great for the price. We originally purchased a $40 Canon battery from Best Buy but returned it for this. We haven't completely drained the battery but seems to be just fine.Digital camera Review: Lithium_Ion Battery

The battery is different than the one I misplaced...it's lighter actually. I am not sure if that means it is the wrong one (even though I researched this out), or if it is just a different type. It seems to work fine, but there are times when it shows it's charging and times when it flashes off and on..could be my computer (again not knowing if this is the way it is supposed to work). I should admit that it takes little more time to recharge it.

I have only recently started to use this battery so don't really know if its life span is as good as the original Canon battery. At this point, it is working very well and I am happy because it cost so much cheaper than the original.
