Digital camera reviews of Power Sentry 5-Outlet PowerSquid Power MultiplierDigital camera Review: Good design, cord too short. Summary: 3 StarsThis is a simple and elegant design. The only drawback for this particular model is the 4' cord length from the wall outlet, I found it to be too short for most applications in my house.
Digital camera Review: Very Useful Powerstrip - it's a calamari. Summary: 4 StarsPros:
-The main problem with conventional power strips is that once you start plugging those power adapters that come with your gadgets, one of those alone can take up 2 to 3 outlets in shear space. With these, you can plug up to 5 individual adapters. If that is your case, then this is very useful to you.
-You can buy it in pure all-white (Just saw it recently at Target)
-the main cord (not shown) that you attached to the wall is quite long which allows you more flexibility in reach.
Cons:
-You may think first that it is unique, strange and even a conversational piece, but after that and having given it a second look, it does not look as pleasing as you would like it to be. Particularly if you have 5 power adapters attached to it. It is also huge.
-No built-in surge protection.
Digital camera Review: Functions as advertised Summary: 4 StarsMy internet connected weather station and network cameras require about 20 plug-in's in my home office. With so many large power transformers, this was the only cable, power management solution that would work for me.
Digital camera Review: Saves space! Summary: 5 StarsThis is a rock-solid solution for all those dongles sitting behind your computer and network gear. I bought three: one for server area, one for workstation area, and one for laptop area.
Digital camera Review: Perfect for unusual projects or situations Summary: 4 StarsSometimes a traditional powerstrip just won't do. This is a great product for those times.
