Ten bucks is about what an HDMI cable should run. This one functions fine, even with HDMI 1.3a spec equipment. Its a good bargain, certainly better than brand names costing ten times as much.Digital camera Review: Dissapointed in these cables

I decided to buy these cables after reading many reviews and also educating myself on just what HDMI cables are supposed to do. My first TV (A 50" plasma) I went in blind and spent 150.00 on a pair of monster cables. My second TV, (A 32" Samsung LCD) I decided to give these a try. Needless to say, after hooking them up, I was convinced I had beat the system and saved myself some serious money. About 2 minutes later, I realized that sometimes you do get what you pay for. Both Cables (One for DirecTV and the other for a DVD) cut out, flicker and pulsate. Needless to say these are on their way back. I dont know if I just got a bad pair. However you would think that at least one of them would have worked. I'm off to my retailer to buy some overpriced cables that work.Digital camera Review: Does what it is supposed to do!

You know, there aren't many ways to criticize a cable if it does its job. I use mine to link my combination hi-def/blu-ray player to my Sony HD TV, and all I can say is it looks phenomenal. The cable does exactly as it is supposed to do. It looks handsome enough... y'know, for a cable!
The six feet in length is just long enough to feed from the player underneath the TV, through the back of the TV stand, and into the TV itself. Personally, I'd suggest an 8-foot length on any cable, but of course it totally depends on your set-up. Remember to consider that before buying; giving yourself a little more slack is beneficial.
All in all, I totally recommend this HDMI cable.

I'm the kind of person who would pay two or three times the price for other HDMI cables if I believed they were better. I paid a lot for my entertainment system, and I wouldn't skimp on cables.
However, there is no reason to spend more.
HDMI cables are a way for retailers to up-sell you and make a high margin to make up for the skinny margins on the HDTV and receiver you are purchasing. They want to charge you $30 and up for cables that are exactly like this. I have purchased around eight of these so far, and they work just fine. I do not believe for a second that there is any difference between this and any overpriced ones.

Don't get ripped off buying from the electronic stores where it is a high profit item.... buy it reasonably at Amazon.
