We all know that with home theater hookup HDMI is the best wiith audio and video quality that no other connection can compete with. And it is so simple. Just plug in the cable to the receiver and the other piece of equipment. The one cord provides both audio and video - all those messy wires and cables are gone!
Now, how to choose which HDMI cable to buy. You can pay up to hundreds of dollars for some while others may have a special gold protector at each end or some other unique feature they say makes their cord better. Bottom line is that an HDMI cable is an HDMI cable. They do need to be 1.3 as this one is to provide the best service for blu ray. I just got a new receiver and blu ray player. The receiver is the SONY STR-DG920 which I highly recommend. it has input slots for 4 HDMI cables. Very rare and provides easy setup. I have an HDMI cable that my cable company gave me when I set up my flat screen HD tv. That looks like a rather inexpensive one. A friend also gave me one that cost $89. Then I just purchased 2 of these. And guess what. After fiddling around with different cables with different connections they all worked the same. It kills me how when it comes to electronics so many companies try to confuse the buyer by price and supposed unique features. They just want your money.
This cord is excellet and very sturdy at each end where you plug it in which shows longevity will be a given. There is nothing cheap about this cable. And the length is perfect. Not too long so you have to hide extra loose cable and not too short that connections become tight. And the price can't be beat. HDMI is the way to go. It is the only connection for the highest quality video and audio. This cable here will not disappoint. It is strong and solid and works amazingly well. Don't let the price make you feel like you are settling. It is of the highest quality.

There are many choices for HDMI cables today. Too be honest, I haven't found one that did not deliver superb results.
This one also provides clear video and sound, but also has sturdy connectors that help manage stress on a stretched cable. The gold plated contacts assure a good electrical connection over time.

HDMI WIRE DOES WHAT IT IS SOPPOSED TO DO, I PURCHASED THIS FOR PS3 AND WORKS GREAT, JUST CHANGED MY SETTING IN PS3, AND PS3 AUTOMATICLY REGONIZES THE HDMI CABEL WIRE AND COULD TELL THAT 1080.
