I bought three of these cables: one to go from my HD DVR cable box to my Harman Kardon AVR-354 7x75W 7.1 Channel Home Theater Receiver, one to go from my Sony BDP-S350 1080p Blu-ray Disc Player to my HK receiver and one to go from my HK receiver to my Sony Bravia W-Series KDL-52W4100 52-Inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV. All three cables worked perfectly, I could see a little improvement in switching from component cables to HDMI on my cable box and a huge improvement on my DVD player. The picture is just unreal on 1080p.
As I said in the title, don't waste your money on expensive cables, HDMI is a digital format, so you either get the signal or you don't, no need to pay $100 for pretty much the same cable.

With electronics stores charging $50 or more for the same thing, this HDMI cable is a great low cost version that does exactly the same job but for far less. It is well made, has sturdy gold-plated connectors attached via a moulded plug, and perfectly connects two HDMI devices. I use mine to connect an upscaling DVD player to my AV receiver.Digital camera Review: Great cables
