Digital camera Review: A familiar issue
Summary: 4 Stars
This is a very well working unit and finished off quite 'smart'. The size is also realistic. Good lit up numbers screen.
Did notice some 'rough' jumps in the numerical changes as one dials in the different parameters. Could be due to the software in FSX?. Lastly the indent is very stiff for the type of knob they use in changing from ALT/HDG/IAS ...etc. So I stuck on a button which is a REAL dial/pointer knob and now I can easily change funtion para's.
There is one area I criticise the makers of this unit ... and that is not the hardware but they, (Saitek) provided NO interface for X-plane! Very dumb! The suggestion X-plane makes as a 'plug-in' is very hard to find and it does not do anything!? .... Sooo that is dissapointing.
As an aside. I live in Canada .... and ... I can't get Amazon to ship the 'instrument' panel ( Nav/Com ) Absolutely crazy! Something about warranty etc. ( I'd wave the warranty .. just drop the price a bit! ....) I would not be surprised if it is related to the US 'Homeland Security paranoi'as it has navigation frequencies etc.
