WHEN I INSERTED THE PWR+ BATTERY IN THE ROOMBA 550 IT CHARGED RIGHT UP. RAN THE ROOMBA AND IT DID FINE. THE SECOND TIME I TRIED TO CHARGE THE BATTERY, THE BATTERY WOULD NOT CHARGE. THE ROOMBA KEPT GIVING ME A CHARGING ERROR. WHEN I PUT THE OLD BATTERY BACK IN IN THE ROOMBA CHARGES IT JUST FINE AND NO ERROR MESSAGES.
INEED TO RETURN THE PWR+ BATTERY.
TRLL ME WHO TO CONTACT SO THAT I CAN RETURN IT.

The battery was exactly as the one I was replacing. Popped it in and the iRobot started working perfectly. Battery was half the price of other sites and saved my iRobot. Even if it were something other than the battery it was worth the risk (opposed of replacing the iRobot or tossing it out)Digital camera Review: Battery died after less than three months.

I decided to go with a generic battery rather than a genuine iRobot battery because, well, a battery is a battery, isn't it?
Alas, not a good move. This battery lasted from Mid October 2010 to Christmas 2010 and has now left my Roomba a paperweight. I'm steering clear of this going forward.
