Ok, so you probably have read this has average picture quality, but for the price, I would say it is pretty good. I bought this camcorder for my son who is 9 because he is addicted to you tube. It is so easy for him to use. Recording is as simple as pushing a button. For him to upload to the computer, all he has to do is flip out the usb and connect to the computer. NO CORDS! For less than $100, it was definetly a good investment. It is also great to tuck in your purse or shirt pocket for traveling. Nice not to have to worry about packing an expensive camcorder when traveling, and knowing I still won't miss out on taking video. I also don't have to worry about my son breaking my good camera, and I don't spend my time trying to teach him how to use this one, It is so EASY. Make sure you wait for it to be on sale, anthing over $100 and you might think you wasted your money.Digital camera Review: Realistic expectations

I ordered this product with the realistic expectation that it would have decent (not great) picture quality, and it does. For $100 this camera is basically what I expected, 2x zoom, can be mounted on a tripod, I love the flip screen.
My only complaint is the way it functions when using an SD card with the unit. It can only write to the SD card, not read from it, so you still have a max of 1 hour(448x336) or 30 mins(640x480), when you pop in the SD card it asks if you would like to copy all video to the SD card which is cool, and once copied it gives the option to remove the videos from it's internal memory.
Just a heads up, remember how I said it can't read the SD card? Once the video is on SD and no longer in the camera's internal memory you can't play back on the screen, also when plugging the camera into a USB port the computer will not be able to pull any video that is on the SD card which means you're going to need a seperate SD reader to get the video off the SD card.
All in all I don't have any regrets over this purchase, it's a good camera for the price.

This product is a small wonder. I bought one for my daughter for Christmas and was impressed with the pictures I bought one myself. It's great for normal use because of the size and eaze of use. This is a great small camera! Just wish I was able to buy the dvd printer by itself as I didn't see it until after I've ordered two cameras, then they were sold in a bundled package. The camera size is easy to put in even a small purse and very easy to use.
