Digital camera Review: Better than earlier Model

I ordered this MSN TV2 Internet and media player for my mother who refuses to use either of my two computers because of difficulty in seeing the screen. She had the earlier model which she sold when she moved in with me. I installed this model so that she'd be able to view the screen on my 34inch TV. I was impressed with the newer version which seems to move from screen to screen quicker than the earlier model. Mother doesn't like it because she can't make out the white lettering on the blue function keys. I still feel this is a superior model, so I give it a four. I have a feeling when I get it moved into her room, she'll be more impressed with it.Digital camera Review: Broadband Internet without a PC

MSN TV 2 turns on instantly and can connect via broadband or modem to the internet. No viruses, popup ads, or spyware to worry about. It's as easy to setup as a VCR.
It's great as a 2nd Internet access device (who wants the expense and hassle of a 2nd PC?) and can act as a media hub that can share photos, music, and video from your PC to your TV.

I bought this system after my high dollar multi-media computer broke down for the 4th and last time.
If you enjoy surfing the web,email, shopping on line, "chatting" on line but don't want to spend a fortune.....this is your baby.
I recently added an Epson C66 printer for receits or articles. Easy to do and again not expensive. Works like a charm.
I use playstation 2 now for games. I expect zillions of game bites is what sizzled my computer in the first place.
MSN updates the product for you through the telephone line every 2 or 3 months.
It is a bit slow downloading with dial up service. But not terribly slow. And you do have to use MSNTV 2 (web tv service) but they are a good service!
I recently had a chance to get a computer again with tax refund money. I decided my MSNTV 2 would suffice. Now I am typing this feedback on a 42" screen tv instead....LOL
Go for it! Buy it, you will like it!!!

item defective, returned to amazon.com for a refund ... have ordered a new MSNTV2, hopefully this one will work ??? ... (...)... in the meantime, i purchased a new WEBTV PLUS, it's useless !!! ... my next option is to purchase a "real" computer !!! ...
