Didn't work and caused static in the existing phone line. I bought this to get my dish network box connected to a phone line. Needless to say; I am still paying the monthly service fee and now have a useless piece of junk in my closet.Digital camera Review: ANTOnline TERRIBLE to deal with 1 Stars
Very poor service from ANTOnline. I received the product and it would not work. I went through all the trouble shooting tips many times and still could not get it to work. Called 800 number and all I could get was a recording asking me to do all the things I had already done. Then tried to get a human at ANTOnline and it was impossible. Then tried to get a human to request a return on the item and that was impossible also. Would go through all the hoops to finally get to the prompt to speak to someone and then would get busy signal promptly. Then tried to e-mail for a return request and was denied because the product had been opened. Very frustrating and a very poor company to deal with. Amazon should look into the way this company handles there customer service. I am very un-satisfied with this transaction. I can appreciate a product not working and all I ask was to return it and can get nowhere. I have been a farily frequent and satisfied Amazon user up until now but if this is the way "problems" are going to be handled by Amazon and there suppliers I am going to think twice before purchasing anything through Amazon again.Sincerely, a very un-happy Amazon

I used to have a second phone line in an upstairs room that I used primarily for faxing and occasional phone calls. When I got rid of that line, I bought this wireless phone jack so that I could use my main phone line in the upstairs room without paying the phone company the considerable cost of running new wires.
The product does work even though the base station is connected to a phone jack in a room that is not only downstairs, but is also separated by multiple doors and walls from my upstairs room, which is in another part of the house.
This unit has enabled me to use my phone/fax machine to send and receive faxes without any problems. Making phone calls is a different story. Although there is always some "noise" on the line, sometimes it is so minimal that I can easily make a phone call and carry on a conversation. But other times the "noise" is so loud that it is not possible to use the phone to call someone.
Bottom line: faxing is always possible, but voice conversations sometimes are not. You need to decide what your priorities are before you buy this.

I have used this particular item before and with very good results. I have checked this purchase out and it works just as well as my old one. I would highly recommend this unit. I will install this unit in my sister's new mobile home, as it has only one telephone jack, which she had to have ATT install, at a high cost.Digital camera Review: DOESN'T SUPPORT CALLER ID

The seller makes a great effort to say that It also supports call forwarding, call waiting, three-way calling, conference calling, and speed dialing, but forgets to mention a very IMPORTANT feature that this item DOESN'T SUPPORT "CALLER ID". Nowhere in the description is mentioned, only when you expand the technical data you see the features that does not support. It only shows (Caller Identification: N) once you expand the technical info, so be aware that this item DOESNT' SUPPORT CALLER ID". If you have a phone with Caller ID and want to use it in another room, this item DOESEN'T SUPPORT CALLER ID and you won't see who is calling. The sound quality is fair. You can hear a little echo, like when you are on a speaker phone. This item is ok only if you just want to add a line to a room or office and do not care about caller ID or a little static noise during short conversations.
