Digital camera reviews of RCA RP7887 AM/FM Super Portable RadioDigital camera Review: Faulty unit Summary: 1 Stars
After reading the reviews of this radio, I was looking forward to receiving and using mine. However, the unit was flawed. AM worked as advertised, but when using FM, the tuner would not tune in stations below 100 FM. I have returned my radio, and will look for a better quality brand.
Digital camera Review: For the Price, the Best Radio on the Market Summary: 5 Stars
GE has made a super all-round radio with this unit. It has absolutely terrific AM reception, which makes it a much more affordable alternative to the Sangean CC Radio Plus. It has a relatively large speaker for clear crisp sound. There are three sound control levers to customize the sound.
I bought this radio for the AM reception, but it has a very good FM tuner as well (with a retractable FM antenna).
If you are looking for a good portable AM radio, or a good all-round radio, this is the one to buy without question.

Digital camera Review: Frustrating Summary: 1 Stars
This thing has serious issues with keeping a station signal. Maybe the dial itself is slipping I don't know, it's very frustrating trying to get a clear signal with this radio. I heard that this radio used to have different components and that's why there are such good reviews, but now it's essentially a different product marketed under the same name.
Digital camera Review: GE/RCA Superadio Summary: 4 Stars
I would rate this radio at 5 stars except for the fact that it is a slide rule dial radio and the tuning dial is just a bit off the mark from the actual freqency being tuned. This slight disadvantage means that one must listen long enough for the station to identify itself in order to know just what frequency is tuned in. However, I like the nostalgia of this style of tuning and it has the advantage of longer battery life over many digitally tuned radios.
One huge positive for this radio is that it has a regular ac power cord instead of a wall-wart. Also, the radio is VERY sensitive and because of that sensitivity I recommend using a loop antenna such as the Select-A-Tenna or the Terk to help tune in the desired station and null other stations operating on the same frequency. Another plus is the sound that the big speaker cranks out. I use this radio out in the garden since it has enough oomph to use outdoors.
Digital camera Review: GE=RCA SuperRadio-A Great Buy Summary: 5 Stars
This is everything that the SuperRadio has always been. We are using it at a radio station for the sales staff to demonstrate to the accounts how good AM radio can sound and how good an AM signal can be received with a quality receiver.
