What is there to say about this stand that hasn't been said in these reviews or the rest of the reviews spread through out the internet.
I received the stand not but 4 hours ago and my neck feels better already.
The product is sturdy and rock solid. There's no frills its just a simple great looking design and it does the job.
The only (and negligible) down side to this stand is that it does not have additional usb ports which are found in other less quality stands. Which also leads to a second point. While you can safely type on your laptop while it is perched on this stand it will undoubtedly strain your neck and wrist. Having said that it would be in your best interest to purchase an external keyboard and mouse along with this great stand. If you own a mac and like the apple keyboard and magic mouse that would be an optimal set up cause both of them use bluetooth and won't take up any USB ports. But I opted for a logitech performance mouse and a wired keyboard with an usb hub for the time being.
This stand might end up costing you more than you initially had wanted to spend because of additional costs like a external keyboard and mouse along with a possible USB hub.
Even knowing the possible additional costs of purchasing this stand I would still highly recommend it.

This stand replaced an adjustable plastic stand I had picked up from Office Depot last summer.
The mStand is great. It's stable, sturdy, stylish and keeps the CD driver exposed so I can easily use it, which was a problem with my other stand. The design also allows you to store stuff under it which is convenient.

I have used this stand with two MacBook Pros, and I love it. Although I can't imagine typing comfortably on it, I use it at home with an external keyboard, so that's not really an issue. It elevates the laptop screen to the same height as my external monitor and wastes very little space on the corner of my desk when the laptop is closed. As others have mentioned, it dissipates heat wonderfully, up to a 40 degree difference from when the MacBook is sitting flat. AThe lid closure is much easier to access on newer (unibody) MacBooks; it is quite difficult to wedge a finger in to activate the latch on pre-2008 MacBooks. Also, this thing is very heavy for the size and not adjustable, so if you're looking for a flexible stand to adjust often, I would strongly encourage you to look elsewhere. Having said that, for my needs, it's as functional as it is beautiful.
