Digital camera Review: Excellent companion to MBP + 24" Display

I bought it for my 17" MacBook Pro to sit on next to my 24" Cinema Display. The laptop used to take up 25% of my desk. With the stand it uses about 12% and I can slide papers/books/etc underneath it. I don't use the cable routing hole in the back because it looks better ironically.
Very sturdy, does not slide around (stand or laptop), and aluminum matches Apple products very well. I highly recommend you buy one.

So far, this stand has been great. The elevation height and angle suit my working environment perfectly. This is the second mStand that I've purchased. I had one at home and just had to get one at the office where I have a big 30" display. It's ideal for raising up a MacBook Pro to be in alignment with larger displays, and also helps to declutter my desk. Additionally, raising the MacBook Pro off a flat surface provides more airflow, preventing my Mac from overheating.
All in all, extremely satisfied with the design, construction, and appearance of this product.

There's not much to say that hasn't been said before. This is an excellent product that keeps my MacBook Pro nice and cool. There is indeed a notch cut out now toward the bottom so you can now open and close the lid without lifting the laptop out of the holder.
Well worth the money, and probably the best MBP stand out there. Lowered my idle temperatures about 6 degrees over the Logitech Alto Express stand. Boy did my MBP get warm sitting on that puppy, plus you couldn't eject discs while using it. Wish I hadn't wasted the money... You live and learn!
Bottom line: Buy the Mstand. It's superb.
