Digital camera Review: A Snap To Put Together, and It Works

Easy kit to build. What I didn't realize is that the older Kenwood TS-530s I wanted to key has a -65V keying voltage and you have to reverse the polarity of the keyer output to the radio. This voltage is too high for the keyer, so I purchased a Universal Keying Adapter from HamGadgets for $15, which I mounted right inside the case. (basically an opto-isolator relay). So now, it will key ANY radio. I could have also used a simple reed relay, but it was easier and neater to buy the $15 kit which I mounted inside the case with some hot glue.
