This product has been working strong with no problems for me for over 5 months now. I use it 5 days a week at work, and had no issues at all with it.
It does what any other ipod charger would do, and keeps the batteries charged, with it playing or not playing. I would say it is a must purchase, even if I think the shipping is a little high.

I love my ipod mini and video, but found it very annoying not being able to charge them when I went on long trips. Also, many times I would charge my ipods and the battery would die, even when I had not used them! I felt like I was constantly charging my battery, only for it to die.
But, this is no longer a problem with this charger. It is excellent! It literally charges an ipod in a few minutes, no joke. However since this is a powerful charger, you should not use it for more than a few minutes because it will drain your battery. A few times I accidentally did this and my ipod froze up.

I've bought two of these, and the price is so great I may buy more. I was using the 30 gig ipod video unit and upgraded to the 160 unit. Which have nice battery life at first but the more you use them the faster the battery dies. Was looking for something to charge other than through my computer or car and found these. I bought two. Use one at work to listen the ipod and have it stay fully charged all day, and one in my suite case for travel and to also have around the house.
I have since lost the work one but am looking for it. Though these are so cheap and work so great that may buy one or two more. They come in very handy, especially if you aren't around a computer, or near a high priced device that plays the ipod and charges it.

I bought the ipod charger for use with my video ipod and it has been working great. It's been only a month since i bought it and i have faced no problems so far. I bought it from bargaincell for about 3 bucks, and you can't beat that deal. I hope your piece is as good as mine (touchwood)...
