Digital camera reviews of Rayovac Rechargeable Hybrid NiMH Batteries, AA-size, 4-count Carded Pack (Pack of 2)Digital camera Review: A great rechargeable for a great price Summary: 5 Stars
After having been among the early adopters of rechargeable batteries, I was a skeptic for a long time. I can remember my dad coming up with a complex system for determining when we would need batteries so he could recharge them freshly. I also remember getting all worried about if the batteries would overheat in the charger and kill us all (usually kid's paranoia).
Last year, I finally decided to try these; I was sick of constantly buying batteries in bulk and making monthly trips to the nearest battery recycling bin to discharge a little of my environmental guilt. Lo and behold, these really did have a strong charge fresh out of the package, they charge relatively quickly, and they even last longer than standard alkaline batteries in my digital camera. Go Rayovac!
Digital camera Review: AWSOME!!! Summary: 5 Stars
These Batteries are awsome! they take forever to run out, and they have a lot more oomph than other batteries that are rechargable.
Digital camera Review: Amazing Summary: 5 Stars
I use these batteries for Wiimotes and digital camera, and they are great. They are especially suitable for digital cameras, which are used infrequently yet drain lots of power. The fact that these batteries don't lose charges much allow me to leave them in my digital camera. I don't think I'll go back to regular alkalines because of these reasons:
- They last very long in digital cameras.
- You can replace half used batteries with fully charged ones anytime.
- These batteries are environmentally friendly.
Digital camera Review: As advertised Summary: 5 Stars
I've used Rayovac rechargeable batteries for years and have been satisfied. I picked up some new hybrids (both AAs and the AAAs) a few months ago and they have also worked quite well. I currently use them in one of my bicycle lights and in one of my wireless mice.
As of yet I haven't noticed any problems -- they seem to work as well as my Rayovacs that I've had for years (which continue to work as well as the day I got them). I'll update if there any problems develop.
I would recommend getting the four battery (2 AAs, 2 AAAs) charger combo, which I picked up for the same price as one set of four batteries alone. (I did not get this on Amazon but this appears to be the same thing.)
Digital camera Review: At last! Summary: 5 Stars
These batteries are what they had in mind when the rechargeable battery concept was invented. I gave these a try based on reviews I read here. After using the first four straight out of the box, I recycled all my other rechargeable AA size batteries and use these exclusively. I had given up on the rechargeable idea and reverted to using alkaline again but the expense to me and the earth always kept me looking for an alternative. These are the answer. They deliver in performance and shelf life and use the same charger I already had. I have two dozen of them rotating through my Nikon flashes.
