Digital camera reviews of Razer DeathAdder 3G Infrared Gaming Mouse

Digital camera Review: Good job, Razer!
Summary: 5 Stars

I did a lot of research before purchasing this mouse, and it's as good as they say! This was a giant improvement over my old Logitech. The mouse came shipped with Firmware Ver: 1.21. The driver included on the CD was Driver Ver: 1.03, so I had to uninstall and download the newest one off Razer's site. I just followed the included setup guide and XP recognized it immediately. Everything is working great! The overall comfort of the mouse is very nice, and the blue lights are cool! I would highly recommend it to anyone, gamer or not. The only con I can think of is it's a little pricey. But doesn't it make sense to spend a little more for better comfort and quality? It's something you'll use everyday and you won't regret it!

UPDATE:
I've been using this mouse for about 4 months, and I just noticed today that the glowing Razer logo light broke. The scroll wheel light still works though! I'm not sure how long it has been broken, but it must've been recent. I'm a little sad, but the fact that I really didn't notice tells me it's not that important. The mouse still works great, but I would change my rating and give it 4 stars instead since it's not perfect.

Digital camera Review: Good little mouse
Summary: 5 Stars

I got this mouse for my Mac and its working great. I programed it to work a little more like a Windows mouse buy the preset stuff is good too.

Digital camera Review: Good mouse
Summary: 5 Stars

Its been a couple of months and its still working =). Perfect mouse for gaming and at a good price too. Got mine for $35.00 shipped. Worth the money imo.

Digital camera Review: Good mouse
Summary: 4 Stars

Good mouse and very fast and sensitive. Sensitive is the key word! The only problem is that the software that came with it wouldnt work wit my computer or punkbuster. I dont know if its because I'm computer illiterate but my brother couldn't figure it out either. But I got it to work without all the fancy extra stuff. It is the best feeling mouse I have ever had and the button setup on the thumb side are sweet. The only complaint I have is the software not working and the cord feels a little thin for such an expensive mouse, but all in all I think it was worth the money.

Digital camera Review: Good while it lasts...
Summary: 1 Stars

I bought the DeathAdder about a year ago, and it worked marvelously until the left mouse button starting "sticking" as if peanut butter was under it or something like that. Then, after I realized that Razer's support is horrendous and would not be servicing or replacing my mouse at all, I decided to disassemble it to see if I could find what the problem was. And oh man did I find it... the left mouse button clicker stick that hits the tiny button had snapped off about 1/4 of the way up. I'm not sure about everyone else, but when I spend 50 dollars on a "premium mouse," I expect it to last more than a year. I will probably be buying the Logitech G9 now, as I had the MX518 for over 3 years and had zero problems. Perhaps I was just unlucky with my mouse's manufacturing, but then again, a company should stand behind their products, especially if it's only been about 10 months since the initial purchase. Razer won't be getting my money anymore unless they improve their customer service.
