Not what I expected. Laser was not as strong as advertised. When I contacted seller about an exchange or return I was told that the laser pointers I expected were much higher in price. I love this pointer. I did not expect for it be as nice as it is for the price offered. The point is very sharp, bright, and crisp. It is not all fuzzy looking as some cab be in the lower price ranges. Worth every penny.

I bought this laser pointer a while back to replace the crappy little one I had with watch batteries in it. I bought it for the cats, they love to chase it. I have been delighted with it so far. The regular batteries make it SO much easier. It's got a pretty bright light and has lasted quite a while on the first set of batteries I put in it. I bought three of these about three months ago but now only one is still working (barely). I thought these might be a little better quality than the cheap plastic pointers but they're not. The point is fuzzy and the buttons on all three of mine are temperamental and then eventually stop working. If you're looking for a cheap pointer, find something cheaper because it will break just as quickly as this one. If you want something that will last for a while look somewhere else. The laser pointer itself is just what you'd expect but the Vendor catalogue that ships with it is hours of fun. American Science and Surplus is like a Candy store for geeks.
