I have bought a pack of 2 batteries. 6 months later, 1 stopped working. Which I didn't really mind because I had the other one. But the second one gradually deteriorated from the 6-7hrs of battery life to a mere 2-3 hrs to finally stop working yesterday! About 1.5 years after I bought it. This battery arrived with about a 2/3rds charge and operated the camera fine. I charged it through the camera to a full charge and removed it for storage. 2 weeks later, the battery was fully discharged, and would not accept a charge.
Spend the extra money and get the JVC battery.

The battery Lasted only 2 months. Worked great while it lasted. The merchant I purchased it through had a 30 day return policy and would not help me in anyway with a replacement or reimbursement.
