Digital camera Review: Works better than Apple's sync cable

I bought this cable to keep as a spare at my work so I wouldn't have to carry the original charger back and forth. I was resigned to the fact that I would have to use this cable with a USB/outlet adaptor because the cable that came with my iPhone wouldn't work with my laptop. I have a PCI card with 2 USB ports, and I guess there isn't enough power coming through it to charge my phone. It would start charging but would quit after a couple minutes and actually drain the battery. Lo and behold, I plug this $0.34 cable up to my laptop and iPhone, and it charges it completely just like it does when it is charged up to an standard outlet. I would have never guessed that this almost-free cable works better than the $20 - $30 that Apple provides. I would recommend this product to anyone!Digital camera Review: Works fine, amazing value

Mine works great. My cats tend to snack on my iPod cords, so this model was a great choice. I can leave it plugged into my computer all the time, and they can't break it...well, they haven't yet at least. I bought two of these cables, since they were so inexpensive. They work perfectly. I'm glad I bought them. More specifically, I'm glad I bought *two* of them. They are very cheaply built - and not surprisingly, considering the price.
1) When you extend the cable, the wire "remembers" its shape and tries to coil back up. More expensive retractable cables are pliable, and don't curl up when you extract them.
2) The round instruction "badge" spontaneously slid off and got all gooey in my hot car. This is very minor.
3) When I accidentally dropped one of these from a modest height of maybe 4 or 5 feet onto my laminate floor, it EXPLODED in a fountain of springs and plastic pieces!! Oops.
