Digital camera reviews of SANYO eneloop 4 Pack AA NiMH Pre-Charged Rechargeable BatteriesDigital camera Review: Long Life, Long Lasting Summary: 5 StarsBatteries Eneloop AA 4-Pack / B000IV2WAW
Batteries Eneloop AAA 4-Pack / B000IV2YLY
I first bought Eneloop batteries on a recommendation from a friend - I'm not really obsessive on researching batteries and charge rates, but he was and I was happy to benefit from the knowledge.
I don't claim to understand all the technology behind these batteries, but they really do work they way they claim. The time between charging and needing to charge again is much longer than my other batteries - I use these AAs in my battery-operated night-lite candles and they last for for at least three weeks, 12 hours a night, before needing to be charged again. My Energizers do not last nearly so long, and I will be replacing them with these as they burn out.
Eneloops also charge faster, in my opinion. And they definitely last a lot longer than other batteries, in terms of their entire lifespan - since it's always expensive to replace batteries (and difficult to find a recycling center that will accept them), I appreciate that these batteries "live" much longer than any other brand I have purchased.
Digital camera Review: They really do hold a charge... Summary: 5 StarsAfter using this charger and swapping out several sets of Eneloops during a recent trip, I can say that yep, these really DO hold a charge while in storage. This is a terrific price for this item. The only con I can see is that the time it takes for the charging is quite long - overnight isn't an exaggeration. No speed demon, but still well worth the price - just make sure you have an extra set of the batteries so you can afford the time to keep one set charging :)
Digital camera Review: Great Product! Summary: 5 StarsThese batteries seem to be doing great so far. They start to lose their charge fast, then they hold out for a long time after the initial.
Digital camera Review: beware of Old Batteries Summary: 1 StarsI purchased 2 separate 4 packs of Sanyo AA 2000 Mah ultra low discharge batteries in August of 2008. According to marketing claims, they should only lose 15% of the charge over a period of 1 year. (Which would mean -300 mah per year) On arrival I put them into my LaCrosse digital recharger to fully charge the batteries. All of the batteries were down anywhere from 858 to 1080 Mah.(more than 50% drained) There are no manufacturing dates on the batteries or packs. I sent an e-mail to Sanyo asking if there was a way of telling when they were manufactured. They told me to return them to Amazon as defective. These must have been sitting in a warehouse for 2 to 3 years. Let the buyer beware of marketing claims!
Digital camera Review: Amazing Summary: 5 StarsI have not purchased rechargeable batteries in a while so maybe I am behind on the technology, but these batteries are amazing. I charged them once and three weeks later they are still using the same charge. I think I have taken about 100 photos on an HP Photosmart M415 - all on the same charge. The USB charger is very convenient. My photo printer has a USB port that I use to charge the batteries. When I travel overseas, I can charge from my mac and not worry about converters.
