Digital camera reviews of SANYO eneloop 4 Pack AA NiMH Pre-Charged Rechargeable BatteriesDigital camera Review: Great for Wii remotes and cameras Summary: 5 StarsThese are the best ones in our Wii remotes. Other batteries have to be recharged twice as often, even the newer ones I bought in the store because my kids had run off with half the Eneloop ones for their mp3 players.
The wiimotes and my camera tend to sit for a few days and then get heavy use and then sit for a few days again. I haven't found anything that works nearly as well as these, so I am back to order more.
Digital camera Review: nice rechargeable batteries. Summary: 4 StarsThese are some of the best rechargeables. They hold their charge better than most other brands I've used. Get these!
Digital camera Review: Great batteries Summary: 5 StarsI've been using the Eneloop AA batteries for a few months now and am completely satisfied. While I haven't done any official tests, I can definitely tell that these batteries last longer in my devices than my old rechargeable batteries. I would highly recommend these...since my initial purchase I've bought two more packs.
Digital camera Review: Saves me money Summary: 4 StarsI did not want to bother with rechargeables but finally had to face the fact that with all the little battery operated gizmos in the house, I was spending too much each year on batteries, even at Costco prices. that is all over now. I have, in a sense, an infinite supply of AA and AAA batteries. I bought the charger at Costco. It comes with 2 sets of AA's and one set of AAA's. this is not enough, so I used Amazon to triple my supply of both (watch out on shipping/handling charge). So I ended up spending about double my yearly battery costs with regular batteries. I could have done better if I had shopped smarter on Amazon. Nonetheless, the product works fine. Runs down faster than regular batteries, but not so often that I am always changing them out. Charge is simple, and supposedly these Eneloops keep their charge. I don't know if that is true, but I always have a fresh set waiting and my battery costs as of now will be zero, nada, zilch. Feels good.
Digital camera Review: Excellent Rechargeable Batteries! Summary: 5 StarsI have a digital camera that uses pairs of AA batteries at a time. The camera is an older Sony DSC-W5 and it likes to eat batteries quickly. Eneloop batteries are much better than traditional rechargeables. They have an extremely low self discharge rate. This means you can charge them and still be able to use them next year. I've found that Eneloop batteries usually out preform my 2500mAh Energizer rechargeables, because the Energizers self discharge so quickly. I can't find Eneloops in any of our local stores, even Target and Wal-Mart. I have found some Duracell "Pre-Charged" batteries that appear to be rebranded Eneloops. Other than the wrapper, they look (and preform) like Eneloops, down to the terminals. Ray-O-Vac has some Hyrbid batteries that compete with Sanyo's Eneloop. Eneloops (and the Duracells) are made in Japan, while the Hrybrids are made in China. I guess it's your choice but, I'd much rather support Japan than China. Overall, Eneloops are worth buying.
