The visor I ordered was the same as I have had only mine was without lights. The old one I used when I was building models. I used it since I had a stroke in my right eye to read . The old unit got where it would fall down on my nose so I ordered the new one to replace it. This is an extremely useful unit for anyone doing occasional close up work. The optics are much clearer than I expected, and the lights work well and are pretty bright. The strap adjusts to most head sizes.
It's not really solidly made, and a bit uncomfortable, the strap and pads such as they are are pretty stiff, so I wouldn't recommend it to somebody who might use it for hours on end- invest in a better unit. But for someone like me who might use it for 10 minutes at a time for small projects, it's a wonderful addition to the toolbox.

This product is more than adequate for my needs. I only need it because I am getting old and I can't see to work on small things any more. It is perfect for the hobbyist. I wouldn't want to use it every day, but it works just fine for what I need.Digital camera Review: Magnifying visor

I had two problems with the visor.
1. It requires 4 AAA batteries which were not included. The description did not mention that batteries were not included.
2. It does not fit me. The maximum hat size was not in the description. I can only use by holding it with my hand.
