This is by far the best case out there right now for the 3g iphone. Trust me, I have tried at least a half a dozen. It looks fantastic (keeps that distinctive look that lets the world know you're a gadget junkie)and the polycarbonate coating makes it slip proof. The case doesn't add bulk like most cases do, and it totally protects the back from scratches. Recommend to all iPhone users that want to keep the phone sleek!! This is exactly what I was looking for. I had a Cozip for my iphone 1G, now I have SHIELD to snug my iPhone 3G. I am a minimalist, and I always look for something that keeps it simple and slim. Not BULKY, easy to apply and take off, and provides protection for the back. This case is definitely the best choice for your iPhone 3G. STRONGLY RECOMMENDED. I had my CapsuleRebel but switched to SHIELD. Man, it's the bomb. White one for my girl, black one for me. Polycarbonate surface will not slip out and it has a great feel in hand. I am really satisfied with the quality. It fits snugly yet still lets the iphone show off its bling. 5 stars all the way. Best fitting non-conspicuous case. I tried the Elago case initially which is good. However it has an open sided design on the left side (volume & silent controls) that allowed me to unintentionally hit the silent switch on the phone. The Shields left side is fully surrounded on all 4 sides and prevents the accidental switching on of the silent mode. The Shield also has a slightly higher design on the sides that comes up about halfway on the chrome trim without totally covering it. This made for a tighter fit than the Elago. The finishing on the Shield is better as well. It has the rubberized finish on both the outside and inside whereas the Elago is only finished on the outside. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because I felt that the cutouts could have been more precise.Digital camera Review: Best case I've seen or used

This case not only protects your iPhone but it doesnt feel like you have a case on your phone. It leaves your phone slick in shape and in your hands. I wish it would have come around to protect the front better but I think that it would have then made the phone much more bulky.
