Digital camera Review: A great keyboard for nighttime playing

I'll make this short and to the point. The ketboard is pretty standard with no bells or whistles other than the backlighting. That said, if you are looking for a keyboard to use for gaming with the lights out at night this is the perfect keyboard for you. Being able to switch between the three colors, red, blue and purple is nice. My wife wishes that it did green also. I expect that in version 3.
All in all, nothing special for the office types but lots of fun for gamers

This keyboard is awesome for gaming at night and for browsing the net. The keys are extremely quiet for gaming at night with the sleeping family members in other rooms. There are 3 color selections but blue is the dimmest of them all. Not many features on this board except for a mute button, video and audio playback controls, color changing button. After owning and enjoying the earlier model Saitek Eclipse lighted keyboard for about a year, I purchased this model when it was featured [...] in Sept of '06. I am not particularly gentle with my keyboards, but it still looks great and functions perfectly. It is comfortable to type on. And I enjoy the media control keys. I find the pink/purple backlighting is easiest to see. My old one got passed down to one of my kids, and it's still going strong. If I had to suggest an improvement, I would like the next model to feature an even brighter setting as I am not a touch typist and often am using it at night. I bought this keyboard for basic typing, not gaming. For this purpose, my concerns are the placement, size, shape, and "feel" or "action" of the keys. This keyboard is excellent on all of these points.
My primary objective was not low price, but this keyboard is reletively inexpensive, so its low price is an added benefit. I recommend it highly if your objectives are similar and your standards are high.
