This keyboard is really special. I wanted a back-lit keyboard for my late evening computing and initially looked at the Logitech. After reading other reviews and comparing prices, I picked Saitek. I'm glad I did. This keyboard is the best one I've ever typed on. The "feel" of the keys is great. The back-lighting is fabulous. You can select blue, red, or magenta. There is a rheostat right on the keyboard to adjust the amount of illumination. The other feature I really like is the weight of this keyboard. It's substantial compared to other "junk" I've used over the years. It doesn't slide around. It has large rubber feet and a great rest for your palms if you choose to use it. Been using this thing for over 6 months now, love it. Was skeptical about paying that much for a keyboard, but have no regrets about it.
People complain about the brightness of the LEDs, could be brighter, but works well enough and much better than no LEDs at all. The brightness knob is useless and should have been a volume knob. This thing is heavy, with good rubber feet, does not move around, even under heaviest gaming actions. Three colors of LEDs to choose from, purple works best for me in the dark hours when playing WOW. Buttons have good solid feel to them, not too noisy when typing at full speed. The media buttons work well for controlling sound, would've preferred volume knob instead of volume buttons.
Overall this is a great keyboard and would recommend it to anyone looking for a solid keyboard for gaming or working.

I'm not a gamer but I must tell you I LOVE this keyboard! Everyone that sees it wants it!
It's beautiful on the purple color & HOT with the red lighting while the blue lighting is nice & neutral.
Works great, I also like the feel of the keys as you type. Sure not sorry I opted for this one!

I didn't expect this kind of excellent quality, it truly lives up to its expectations. The colors on it were amazing looking, and of course it's easy to type on. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a (non-wireless) keyboard. A++++
