Digital camera Review: Nice addition to your man room

Hey all, just thought I'd add my 2 cents here. The adjustability of the joystick is a very nice feature. Out of the box it was too tall and the HAT control was too far back. I adjusted both using a small tool that comes attached to the joystick base in about 1 minute. I was initially worried about the 4 buttons on the 'head' of the joystick being too close to the HAT switch. When I actually used it I found hitting the correct button was very easy and my thumb never accidently hit the 'fire rockets' button instead of the "look left". I read reviews stating there was a need for a 4th leg on the base in front however, I've never noticed an issue. However, I'm more of a finesse guy so I'm not ripping the joystick off the desk every 2 minutes.
Setup was easy and my version of windows found the latest drivers with no problems. I've only used it for about 1.5 months so far and everything seems great and I've had no issues. If I remember, I'll come back on here to write a follow up about it's durability.

This Joy Stick Is Not For All Games . If You Are Looking For Something Versicle To Play Things From Black Op Games To Pac-Man This Isn't The Stick . As a joystick, it's pretty ok. It looks nifty and has tons of adjustability. I had problems getting the drivers installed in Windows 7 64-bit, it wouldn't work. I was about to contact Saitek support when I did a search and found mention in a FAQ on their website that this is a known issue and gave you some steps on how to fix it. I was able to get the drivers installed OK eventually. But if this is a known issue, I hope they're adding a note in newer boxes or that they should make this info more noticeable on their site.Digital camera Review: Only an 'ok' product

No matter what you've read, this stick is NOT programmable out of the box. You have to download beta software from Saitek (IF you can find it... I had to get a tech to get me a valid link). Comfort is only 'ok', maybe because it tries to fit everyone. Quality is questionable. I bought this stick based on the Amazon reviews (reviews anywhere else are lacking, I guess that should have been a red flag). After getting it, I couldn't believe how high the ratings are. It seems flimsy & cheaply made. I since found a Youtube video that really pans this stick (just do a search at youtube). The buttons seem flimsy. I also saw this stick at a local Fry's and the same button that broke off in the youtube video was broken there as well. Button positioning is 'ok' but could be better. I really wanted to like this stick, but with all these issues it's going back to Amazon.
