First of all, what would you except from a 7 bucks lense..sorry 4 filters in 7 bucks ? dont expect a high macro lense..seeing at the price its a must have filter..there should not be any hesitation buying this item..check some of my pics uploaded here..+10 worked great..if not macro- it will certainly increase the DOF for close up shoots..image quality is also acceptable...dont think too much..just go for it..Digital camera Review: Good Filters

The product does what is is advertised to do. The carrying case could be better but is
ok for most situations. Have used both on the road and at home and no damage yet. Keep the
plastic bags the rings come in, you will need them.

Ive never owned a macro lens so I cant give a truly fair comparison but for the occasional macro need, I think these filters are great. It snowed yesterday and I got some amazing shots of individual snowflakes using the 10x filter and a 50mm 1.4 lens on my D90. I originally bought these to photography beads for a client. They are great and fun to play with!
