I received this in late October as part of a package deal from Amazon along with an LED TV and 3D starter kit.
As I already had a BD player and did not have any interest in the 3D functionality I did not open the box until Christmas weekend.
This unit was defective out of the box - would not recognize ANY BD or DVD media of any kind. Samsung was not willing to honor the warranty without a $50 labor fee for a item that was defective right out of the box. Amazon CS stepped and made an exception and accepted a return out of policy. Amazon knows how to keep a customer, Samsung just lost a good one.
