Digital camera Review: A good basic first Blu-ray player

Here's the short and sweet. A fine basic Blu-ray player. Both picture and sound are as expected. A few drawbacks: the digital display is small and faint...practically useless. As for the remote, I would say the same. I have a Samsung LN46A650 LCD-TV. The remotes are similar but the TV remote is heftier, has back lighting, and the markings are larger and therefore easier to see. Using the Blu-ray remote while watching a disc practically requires using a flashlight! For the money, not a bad buy.Digital camera Review: A great inexpensive Blu Ray player!!!

This is a great Blu Ray player from Samsung!!! Sure, it probably does not have all the bells and whistles as the more expensive models.but it works great for me,actually I have a more expensive Sharp Blu Ray player in my bedroom,but this one is for my living room,and since there is young kids sometimes running around,the cheaper Samsung model was the more logical choice,for me anyway!!! If it get accidentally destroyed,I wont cry about it!,well not to much anyway!!! Kudos for Amazon,I ordered this on Oct 16th,it was delivered to my door the NEXT DAY,faster than a speeding bullet,and that was the FREE Super Saver Shipping baby,be sure to select that when ordering!!!,still can't believe it!!!This is one very happy camper!!! This product was defective from the moment I got it. Frequent audio dropouts during playback with any disc. I sent it in for repair and they sent it back exactly as broken as it ever was. Now they will only ask me to send it in AGAIN and are completely rude about it to boot. There is a reason this is discounted over the Sonys. Samsung knows this player is defective and just wants to unload them. DO NOT BUY unless you just want to flush 200+$ and a chunk of your life down the toilet.Digital camera Review: A worthwhile upgrade

When we purchased a new (our first) HDTV we followed the advice of friends and purchased a Blu-Ray disk player as well. The Samsung TV page offered the Samsung Blu-Ray player at a discount if we purchased it WITH the TV, so we did.
It works very well on both Blu-Ray movies and our old non-Blu-Ray DVDs. The old DVD's look crisper and I believe this player upgrades the image. Or, could it simply be the HDTV? I would like to compare the same "old" movie on this and a friend's Sony Blu-Ray player and see if there is any difference, but have not had the time.
Digital camera Review: ABT Electronics through Amazon!

I bought a Samsung BD-P1500 1080p blue-ray DVD player from ABT electronics through Amazon recently. I got a really good price from ABT. They have been great during my ordeal. They will be my first place to buy any electronics in the future.
Unfortunately, the DVD player piece I bought was a little defective. My contact with Samsung did not provide me a pleasant response. They do not have knowledgeable people sitting on the customer service who can help trouble shoot, and if that fails to be able to determine that the piece had real problems. There can be defects in some rare occassion with the best of quality control in the elcetronics and I do not have a problem with that. But they can definitely improve their response to the problems, especially if according to their claim, it is rare.
Finally, I contacted ABT electronics. Their customer servie was great. Within a very short time (the same day) I got a UPS return label. Within less than a week after sending the DVD player to ABT electronics, I received a brand-new replacement. It is working very well. I have already told my family and friends about this unusually good experience. Go for ABT electronics. Strongly recommend them for electronics purchase.
