Digital camera Review: An outstanding purchase!

I've had this TV for a month now, and it has performed flawlessly. Researched this TV for months, read all the reviews, looked at it at Best Buy, finally pulled the trigger a week before Thanksgiving. Ordered it on Sat. and received a call on Tuesday from Pilot (I'm 45 minutes from a distribution site). Two men delivered it to the basement, unpacked it and put it on the stand, turned it on, and made sure it was working. Once I was happy, they left. It was a very pleasant experience.
I have an XBOX 360 and PS3 hooked up to my Onkyo receiver (SP908 HTiB) via HDMI which feeds directly to the TV via HDMI. I also have a satellite receiver connected to the Onkyo via s-cable. All output signals to the TV are via the Onkyo and HDMI.
Using the PS3 as a blue-ray and dvd player, the images look fantastic on the Samsung. Colors are vivid, the image is bright, there is no blur at all that I can see. I have not noticed any artifacts yet. Watching WALL-e and The Mummy 3 in HD was a great experience. You can actually make out the individual hairs on the coats the actors wore. There is a lot of detail in the images being displayed. Video games for the XBOX and PS3 are amazing. HALO 3 never looked better. COD4 - amazing. You'll want to re-play all your games again.
I initially thought this TV would show a less-than-bright picture, but it's very bright across the screen. We sit about 12 feet from the TV, and leave on two sconces behind us. It shows as good a picture (if not better) as my in-laws 52" Panasonic 1080p plasma. Satellite picture is not as good, but its just Standard Def.
Setup was very easy. Just a matter of configuring what inputs to use on the TV and receiver. I also turned off the speaker on the TV, its not needed in a home theater setup. The picture is as-is right out of the box, I have not tweaked it yet. Still it shows a fantastic picture. It should look way better after being tweaked.
I have noticed a crackling or popping noise coming from the screen several times. Others have also posted on this occurance. It seems to be coming from the plastic bevel around the screen. I think its heating up and expanding while the TV is in use. I heard it only because my head was inches close to the TV during setup. Sitting back on the couch, you would need dead silence to hear it.
Buying this TV has been a very positive experience, start to finish. I would recommend this to anyone looking for HDTV at a very good price. Now I just need to switch my satellite feed to HD..

Just got this TV a week ago and it is amazing. Like some other reviewers here, I had been hesitant to go with a DLP, but the price/size ratio and the LED light source eventually sold me. I've been agonizing over this decision for a few months now and finally pulled the trigger, and I'm glad I did.
The only thing that should really be of any concern to anyone is the vertical viewing angle but if you place the TV at the proper eye level, there's no issue. I'm a tall guy and my old TV stand is a little too short, so when I'm standing up and watching the screen from a close distance (playing guitar on Rock Band or something like that) the picture does tend to get a little bit washed out. That's entirely my fault for not having a TV stand of the proper height, though, and I'll fix that soon (I didn't like what I read about the Samsung stand for this model so I decided to look for a different one locally, just haven't gotten around to it yet).
Overall, this is an outstanding TV, and I'm glad I finally worked up enough courage to take the plunge. My only minor regret (very, very minor) is that I didn't go with the 67-inch version. It probably would have been too much TV for my living room, though.
Oh yeah, almost forgot: CEVA was excellent on the delivery. They called a few days ahead of time and set up the appointment window, and the guy arrived right in the middle of the window. He was quick but thorough, treated the box gently, and I was enjoying my TV within 5 minutes after he left. It was my first experience with CEVA, and I would use them again.

I can't say enough how great this TV has been. I'm very very very pleased with this tv. Delivery was good had no problems with that, the tv had no damage upon delivery. And to go with that due to amazon.com's 30-day policy I got money back from my original purchase price.
