Digital camera Review: Excellent Value
Summary: 5 Stars

I'm in no way a video expert, but I know what looks good to me. Having watched Directv HD and played Xbox on it, I love the picture. It is in a long room so I have no issues with the side view and it doesn't seem to have any issues with glare from the back window. I didn't need it mounted to the wall so that wasn't an issue either. For the $1448 I paid, I could not be happier.

Digital camera Review: What an incredible set!
Summary: 5 Stars

Okay, so I had one of the very first Samsung DLP rear screens back in 2003; and I thought it look fantastic and blew away any plasma or LED competition.....until I got this set! The picture is absolutely brilliant and the LED much brighter than the bulb based sets. What really surprised me, is that the speakers are pretty darn good (as opposed to what others were saying in their reviews)....lets face it, you're not going to use you home sound system for everything you watch on TV; hence these speakers are more than adequate....they even have an equalization adjustment! I've NEVER heard plasma or other LED based sets have audio any better than this Samsung! Got my unit from 6Ave and was extremely happy with the service. I was a little nervous having never ordered such a large unit on the internet before, but they were very courteous and helpful with my order. Not crazy about the so-called white glove service though; had to help bring in the set then beg the delivery guy to unpack it!!
There are more options in the menu to fine tune your picture to your specifications; after all, everyone's taste about a good picture is different! A shame that they are discontinuing making these dlp's; this one is supposed to last you about 20 years!!! Long enough for the next format! Don't delay, and get your hands on one of these sets before they're gone. You'll NEVER be able to go black to plasma or LED when you have one of these baby's!

Digital camera Review: Best Bang for your HDTV Buck Under $2500
Summary: 5 Stars

I have now had this TV a few weeks and can speak intelligently about it. First, the set was delivered in about 3 business days - I am in PA and it was coming from NJ, though. While 61" is monstrous, the set is not deep at all. It's roughly twice as "thick" as a flat-screen set. The great thing is that all the inputs are on a panel on the side of the back that makes it super easy to hook up and organize cables. A really nice bit of thinking there. The first thing I did was run DVE for Blu-ray on PS3 in 1080p and the default setting for the TV in "Movie" mode were fairly accurate. The mode was preset to "Warm 2" which is quite stupid, but just changing it to "Standard" made a huge difference. For most people, this would be the only real adjustment they would need. I ran the set through several interference patterns and it performed quite well. Also, overscan was not a problem at all, which had been one of my concerns. Some minor tweaking was necessary to obtain the correct contrast levels for my living room - but not much. I pulled the color back a bit as the set does tend to bloom just a little. Relative to TV's anywhere near this price range, however, it looked amazing. It took me about an hour tops to tweak the set to my personal tastes, and it looked incredible! The black levels are amazing, especially coming from an LCD set - this better than most Plasmas. The color just pops, especially when you pull it back just a bit. I watched Planet Earth in 1080p and it looked beautiful! Other than some extreme contrast situations, which I have never seen a set pull off properly, this Samsung kicked butt. Lastly, deinterlacing 1080i is very good. I have Comcast HD as a provider and it looks great. Also, due to the fact that this is an LED set and not LCD, I could detect almost no motion-blur and Standard Definition channels looked much better than any LCD I have seen. I was going to get a 52" Pioneer Kuro for $750 more, and this set is not only better, but it has a much larger image. You will be very happy with this purchase I am sure.

Digital camera Review: AWESOME!! Why settle on less picture for same money?
Summary: 5 Stars

I am not much on the techno jumble regarding high end electronics. I can only tell you we have no complaints whatsoever! Quick, great, shipping to our doorstep...and the delivery guy brought it inside. If you don't have to have your television mounted on the wall, this is the way to go! No doubt, the BEST AND MOST BANG FOR YOUR BUCK! I custom built a wooden stand/entertainment center based upon the dimensions listed in the product specifications. It is a great addition to our interior decor. I cannot see spending this kind of money for a picture half this size just so you can "attach it to the wall". This set is not that deep....just over 14". That's less than what the old 32" tube sets! The picture can be viewed from all angles, even from up close. The ratings don't lie about this televsion. The few poor ratings people complain about I believe are mostly older issues with previous models that have been resolved (I hope!) Mine is working great with a great looking picture!

Digital camera Review: Incredible set
Summary: 5 Stars

I'll keep this short and sweet. The TV is amazing, I highly recommend purchasing it.

On a side note delivery was flawless. They called me 3 days after I ordered and made an appointment to deliver it that day. When the delivery guy showed up he helped me carry it upstairs, unpack it and stuck around while I set it up. Once he saw that the TV was working and I was satisfied he left. Fantastic service!
