If you need big-TV quality in a small space, try the Samsung 19-inch. Picture quality and sound are excellent, and the thin profile makes this TV a good choice for small spaces, like the kitchen, which is where ours is located. We researched Consumer Reports before buying, and they are favorable to the Samsung brand, so we felt confident in making this purchase. I bought my Samsung LN19A450 720p LCD HDTV from Best Buy in early January. Apparently, I got a lemon. I've waited too long to return it to Best Buy. The speakers make two different weird noises on separate occasions: 1.) A hum 2.) An audio static (like the ocean). ( I do not hear this noise when I use the headphones, or when I press the mute button.) When watching over-the-air television, I hear the humming noise over analog channels, but not digital channels (usually). When I have a VCR connected and switch the Source to AV, I hear the humming noise and/or static, regardless of whether I am playing a videotape. The volume of the noise does not change when I adjust the volume between 1 and 100. Today, I finally called the Samsung Customer Care Center. I was provided a Reference number and UPS Return label. My only option now is to ship it to the provided New Jersey address (all the way from here in Los Angeles), which doesn't even have Samsung's company name! I am very annoyed, and will probably never buy another Samsung product.Digital camera Review: Awesome

Light weight, crisp color, easy set-up. Purchased this unit, for our motorhome, after trying the "converter box" for a while with our original TV; there is a day/night difference.

I did extensive research for a good HDTV and found this Samsung to be the best of everything I looked at. I am very pleased with the picture quality and overall performance. The pricing at Amazon was also the best when compared to over 20 other retailers, so all-in-all, I am very pleased and would recommend this item to anyone looking for a great 19" HDTV.Digital camera Review: Buy This TV

I only wish I would have purchased this Samsung 19" HDTV sooner. After my small analog kitchen TV "bit the dust" last winter, I convinced myself I really did not need a kitchen TV. WRONG....that is where I am most of the time while everyone else is visiting and watching the games, poor me. lol... Well any way, my husband and I looked at every 10" HDTV on the market and finally selected this Samsung. Perfect choice!!! It is clear, sharp, with excellent sound that completes the package. It fits perfectly under my kitchen cupboards...no glare from anywhere. Love this product, if I needed another TV, this would be the "go to" TV. You will NOT be disappointed.
