I bought this set for use in my kitchen. We receive both digital and analog stations from our local cable company. The digital picture from this Samsung set is simply superb and the analog picture is very good. Setup was easy although the owners manual could have been better written. The controls that run up the side of the set are very hard to see, to the point of almost being invisible; but, as I will be using the remote control for set operation, this is not a problem.
If you are buying this set because of the Touch Of Color option, you may wish to think twice. The dark red blends into the black of the set and is difficult to see at best. The price at Amazon was reduced enough so that the extra charge that goes with TOC was negated. I didn't buy it for the TOC anyway.
I used the Free Super Saver Shipping option with Amazon and the set was at my house in 2 days from date of purchase - WOW.
Overall, I am very happy with this Samsung. I would have given it 4 & 1/2 stars if possible, only because of the poorly visible TOC and controls on the side of the set. Performance in all other respects has exceeded my expectations. If you are looking for an excellent smaller set this is the one.

As others have said don't let the "touch of red" keep you for your purchase. I like the color it makes it look more richer. As for the connections on the back of the set, if you need to hook it up to any device, it has a connection for it. I read many reviews on this set as well as reviews on other web sites. The rating for this is very high, and after receiving it, the reviews didn't let me down. The picture is just fantastic. It's has a whole lot of setting for any kind of lighting. There were only two things I didn't like 1. I thought the set up of the channels was a bit on the long side, it took about 30 minutes. 2. When you turn the set on, it has a delay which is a bit annoying. I do have basic cable which only has about 70 channels; I guess it had to check for HD which takes quite a long time. I'm not one of those high tech folks out there, but I do know that Amazon had the lowest price!!! It's worth every penny. I'm so glad I decided on the Samsung LN19A650Digital camera Review: Good Gift

I purchased this tv for my partner. It replaced an old color crt tv. He has it in a small bed room and its a good size for the space. It is a beautiful product. The touch of red is barely visible except in bright light, and actually my partner would have preferred it to be more red. It was very easy to set up. The colors are very good. I bought this TV for our kitchen, the first HD TV I've owned so nothing to compare it to. I'm pleased with the picture quality when the programming is HD, nice and sharp. However, the vertical viewing angle for optimum picture is very shallow. Even a little up or down difference changes the picture quality drastically. The side to side viewing angle is adequate. I like the various options for changing the picture size, depending on the broadcast. On the down side, the power cord falls out of the socket on the back of the TV with the slightest movement, but this can be fixed by wrapping a couple layers of duct tape around the plug for a snug fit. The TV is too quiet with Dolby broadcasts, even at full volume. The fix is to use amplified computer speakers. They have to be plugged into the headphone jack in back for the volume control on the remote to work. Unfortunately, the headphone jack is a piece of crap; the miniplug to the external speakers has to be situated in it just so. Otherwise, I don't get sound out of both speakers, or I get hum. I don't have a fix for that. Another annoyance is that when I change channels, the channel information in the upper left corner doesn't stay on long enough to read, and there's no adjustment for that. All in all I am reasonably happy with my purchase, despite the cheapness of some of the connectors and the other flaws.
