Digital camera Review: 22 inch Samsung LCD TV
Summary: 4 Stars

Very happy with this purchase. Takes a little time to get the TV settings the way I like them. Very nice picture once that's done. Great price from Amazon on this one. Better than anyone else and the shipping was free with Amazon Prime.

Digital camera Review: 22" LCD
Summary: 5 Stars

Second Samsung LCD purchase. I am impressed with the Samsung LCD's. The 22" is for the bedroom and is as expected. Don't buy it looking for superb stereo sound, it's a 22" LCD after all and you aren't going to watch it in a move theatre atmosphere. It does its job well. I'll stick with Samsung (and I'll buy them thru Amazon as long as they sell them....great service)

Digital camera Review: A bit more expected from this
Summary: 4 Stars

I'll preface by saying I'm not a serious A/V person, I'm not up to speed on the latest and greatest technology - just a layman. My old CRT TV died, and I needed a new one. Wanted LCD for the lower power consumption and since nearly all of them are HD ready I wanted that too. From what I read, Samsung has the best LCD panels out there. The image on this one is extremely good, though in my opinion I wouldn't say excellent. At times it seems to blur momentarily. Colors are well represented. The features of the TV are nice, not much more than you'd find with older CRT though. This unit is very light weight and easily mounted to a wall. It doesn't get hot when on, which is nice. The remote is weird in its layout of the buttons. I guess it's a subjective thing, but the channel and volume up/down buttons are at the bottom of the remote, not the top and that's really annoying to me. Good thing I was able to get a universal to use with my cable box and DVD player. While I would otherwise give it a five star rating I will have to agree with many others about my one real gripe. The sound. The speakers are buried UNDER the TV, and point down. I have mine in a small bedroom, I don't have delusions of using this TV for a home theater but for four hundred bucks they could have put some better speakers on this thing. While the speakers are loud enough, they just don't sound all that great most of the time.

Digital camera Review: A little disappointing
Summary: 2 Stars

This is our third LCD TV. When we compare this smaller 22 inch to our Sony 32 inch (one year old) and our Samsung 46 inch (eight Months old) we are dissapointed in a couple things. First the picture quality varies a lot with the viewing angle. This means that you have to be right in front of the screen to get an acceptable picture. The picture seems to have a film over it, even streight on It may be a problem with all the small screen sizes. Second, the sound quality is far less than what I would expect from a product by this manufacturer. There is no excuse for this.

Digital camera Review: A smart choice for this size
Summary: 4 Stars

I am very picky when it comes to electronics. I spend 2-3 months reading and visiting different stores asking lots of questions to a variety of salesman. Honestly I am a die-hard SONY consumer, but SONY did not have a set this size, needed for a spare bedroom. Having a friend who is a tv repairman, I was influenced somewhat by his opinion, as he sees sets all the time in the store for repair. According to him, the three brands that have the LEAST repairs are ...SONY, SAMSUNG and PANASONIC. He says "you can't go wrong with any of those brands." I have to believe him. This set is excellent. The set up is a breeze, and the picture on standard cable is very good, HD is amazing. The prize at AMAZON is cheaper than any of the big box stores, but just so you know, if you just have to have it NOW, and can't wait a few days for shipping, HH Greggs will match the price within about $4.00, whereas Circuit City and Best Buy thumb their noses at you when you ask. They are just too big for their britches! That's about it...if you are looking for a set in this size, just go buy it. It's a super looking set, easy controls, easy set up, very good picture on cable, excellent on HD and a good price. What's not to like?
