Digital camera Review: Amazing buy for an excellent price!

After waiting a few years for prices to come down, I've heard that right now is about the best time to buy a HDTV so I went for it. To get this TV for $1575, no tax and free shipping, I am very happy. But the true question is... is this TV worth it. I was definately torn between this 550 model and the 650 model. But with a $400 price difference, slight upgrades in the specs, and the fact that the 550 model has a more matte screen, I chose this TV. But how does it look...... I'de say pretty amazing. There are many reviews on here about the picture, but I would rather focus this review on glare... or lack there of.
Glare for me was the single most important factor in buying a HDTV. I instantly ruled out Plasmas, and read that the 650 has a glossier screen than the 550. I placed the TV in a 25 foot valuted ceiling room, which includes a family room, kitchen and upstairs loft. This room has 11 huge windows in it, all south facing, two of which have direct sunlight hitting the TV when the sun rises. So basically during the day, this room is as bright as a room can be... and I have no means of making it any darker. Aside from direct sunlight on the TV..... this TV has absolutely NO issue with glare. None whatsoever.

I purchased this without an extended warranty- Great TV! Amazon/CEVA delivered early and I live in the country hundreds of miles from their shipping locations. Samsung may have a rough customer service team but you hardly need it! Two years ago I bought a 40" Samsung (720p) and was thrilled. I've had this 52" for a month and am even more thrilled. Amazon was great in delivering the set in less than week...delivery guys showed up when they said they would...set is great and was easy to hook-up...no glitches and I did change the sound settings as described in a blog on this site and it really did enhance the audio! Pricing was great and still less than anything advertised to this point - even though prices on HD TVs continue to fall. The free shipping and no sales tax are hard to compete with. I say this HD LCD TV is as expected because two months prior to purchasing this 52 inch TV I purchased the Samsung 32 inch TV of the same model number. After installing and using the smaller version I was convinced that the best large screen TV I could buy would be the Samsung of the same model number.
I have not been disappointed. The install and connect procedures are simple and easy to follow. The picture is amazing and the controls are so easy to use that my wife can use them. Not to make fun of her ability it is just that she has remote control difficulties.
I also purchased the Samsung 1080p upconvert DVD player. It is what they call Anynet. That means that the TV will automatically recognize and connect the player. It is a great function. Absolutly no set up procedure when it is connected.
