I got this TV as an upgrade to a 42" Samsung plasma TV. So far, I have loved every minute. Do not listen to any of the negative complaints about the poor sound. If you're spending 1700+ on a set like this, then you've probably (or should) have an equally impressive surround system. This having been said, it is still worth your time to use the sound calibration that is under the reviews. The display is simply amazing. I would recommend checking out www.avsforum.com and searching for calibration profile to get the best picture out of your new TV.Digital camera Review: Awesome!

I did a lot of research by going to local stores and reading reviews. This TV has an extremely sharp picture that rivals TV sets costing $800 more. Once I adjusted the sound (which made a significant improvement), I bought the Amazon suggested Pearless tilting mounting bracket & hooked it up to my stereo system. I had considered the 46" but for less than $300 more I got the 52"...I could not be happier with my purchase!Digital camera Review: Awesome!

I have to say, the delivery from Amazon was very professional. TV works great on HD channels. HD attenna was purched to take advatage of the HD channels. I bought this Samsung LCD, in part, because of the "white-glove delivery". The company that delivered it is called Pilot Freight Services. It was supposed to be a two-man delivery. One guy with a van showed up and dragged my 52" LCD across my driveway and up two flights of stairs!!! He just set it in my living room and I had to ask him to help me take it out of the box and set it on my TV stand. The TV worked for a while and now shuts off and on frequently. Amazon is sending out another TV. I will NOT accept delivery if only one guy shows up. Beware of Pilot!!!
