This superb lcd tv. Amazon does awesome job. Was delivered via Ceva(White Glove Service) in less than a week after placed order. Drivers brought this 85# box into the room, unpacked it and set on tv stand for me...just like your local appliance store says they do. Do Not be concerned about buying on line if from Amazon.com. They gave me several hundred dollars in credits since price dropped after it shipped...continue to do so until 30 days after ship date. Simply outstanding business model. You can not go wrong. I purchased this TV on 7/8/08, I kept close view of the tracking (due to some of the reviews I read about Ceva). On 7/13 I saw it arrived at the local Ceva, I placed a call to the office and they said it was there. Now they inform me that they only come in my area on Weds & Sat (this was Sunday), I decided that rather than wait 3 days I would pick it up myself! I arrived and quickly left with my TV, once I got home was in great condition!! The picture with some adjustment is fantastic, the sound is pretty horrible but I knew that from the reviews. Bottom line you cant find a better deal anywhere...GREAT TV!
EDIT: Amazon's 30 day price guaranty is beautiful...It's the 16 of July and I've save $170 on the TV, it's like the gift that keeps giving!

I am not an expert on TVs. I did research on Consumer Reports and the Amazon website and other websites. This TV got very high marks. I also visited other forums to get the proper settings to adjust the audio and video.
I think this TV provides excellent performance, but I do have enough experience in televisons to comment on technical issues. We are quite happy with the picture.
I can say that buying this TV was much more pleasant than dealing with Best Buy or Circuit City. At BB and CC there is so much pressure to buy the extended warranty, overpriced cables, set-up charges etc. The salespeople at BB and CC might not be on commission, but I know for a FACT that those salespeople who sell the most extended warranties get more hours and more "rewards". The people at Amazon were easy to deal with and knowledgeable.
Delivery was very smooth and hassle free. Very good communication with Ceva, the delivery people. They were prompt, neat, and a pleasure to work with. I was initially hesitant to buy a large TV from Amazon, but now I will never hesitate to buy a similar product from Amazon. The price from Amazon was $400 less than the local CC store, and $200 less than the CC website ( which the local CC was reluctantly willing to match). No sales tax and no delivery fee saved me another $200. So I saved $400 right off the top. Combined with the zero pressure and easy delivery and buying from Amazon made a ton of sense.

I am very impressed with this TV. I have it hooked up to a home theater sound system though because the audio from the TV isn't very good. The only thing I wasn't happy about is that I feel I was misled into thinking that I would be receiving price protection for 30 days from the purchase date if the price fell. Well, the price fell $100. within 2 weeks and Amazon said the price protection did not apply because they were only the broker in the deal and didn't supply the product.
