Great first buying experience here with 6ave.com and Amazon....The TV itself is amazing - great blacks, exceptional color accuracy, and great overall picture quality.... it has surpassed my expectations. It is now truly a joy to watch sports in HD. Everyone who sees this TV loves it. I had a small problem with the shipping and Amazon took care of the problem immediately. They could not have possibly been more customer friendly. They followed up on every phone call and email and took every step to ensure that I had a positive buying experience. I would now highly recommend Amazon.com for any purchase and will surely be back myself. If you are worried that you may be taking a big risk buying such an expensive item online, I would say don't be... Amazon's A-Z guarantee has you covered....along with Samsung's 1-year manufacturer warranty, you can't go wrong. I am %100 satisfied with Samsung, 6ave.com, and Amazon. Amazon no longer price matches, even 10 hours later! I "purchased" this LN52A650 TV one night because of Amazons reputation of having price protection, and the next morning the price had dropped by over a hundred dollars. When I called to get the price adjusted, Amazon tells me they no longer have price protection as of Sept 1st, even on an order placed just 12 hours ago, and the price dropping on their own site! They claimed they will not, cannot cancel the order, even though it has not been charged to my credit card yet, and I must refuse shipment or dispute the order from my credit card. Be aware:
AS OF SEPT 1ST,2008 YOU NO LONGER HAVE ANY PRICE PROTECTION FROM AMAZON.
This is a huge problem for anyone buying a big ticket item from Amazon, and a substantial change in policy. Very sad.
Digital camera Review: AUDIOFILES, LISTEN UP

Okay, we've owned this TV for two months now. I researched and researched and came to the conclusion, like many have before, this is the best 52" model in a decent price range. We wanted to get the 750 model, due to the built in mini subs but, the halo effect on that wasn't worth the subs. A simple pair of RCA audio cables running to my sub would take care of that. Okay, on to my serious point.
The tv is great, excluding one simple factor. The speakers are on the underside of the tv, downward firing. They are angled toward the back so, your acoustics from the tweeters aren't directly firing toward you at all. We have it mounted on a tilting wall bracket and the audio quality is terrible. Now, I will say that the SRS feature works pretty well but, there are very minimal high frequencys able to be heard. yes, I can always crank up the Sony reciever with my polk speakers, which cost more than the tv itself and take care of it. I'm not always wanting the big speaker system running though.
If I hadn't purchased it online, it would have went back to the store immediately, just for the issue above. I've always purchased Sony products and my next lcd for my home theater will be a Sony, count on it. Also, we own 2 32" Sony lcd models, that sound 50 times better than this samsung. Hell, even my 2006 off brand target trutec model has better sound on it. Okay, I just couldn't go on any longer, without posting this for others, who will care, and would be interested to know. Hope I've helped someone out there, with their tv purchase.

I researched HDTVs for weeks. Everything I read led me back to the Samsung 52" model 650. Then I spent weeks looking for the best price. Amazon was about the lowest price with no tax and free shipping. I was leary about ordering such a big item online.
Amazon was great. It took less than a week. Two men delivered the TV, carried it upstairs, unboxed it, and set it on the shelf. They were great. I will definitely not be afraid to order other large item from Amazon.
The TV is everything I could ask for. It is beautiful looking with the touch of red. Set up was very easy. The menu walks you through everything step by step. The TV has plenty of connections for everything I would want. I am not a techy so I will not bore you with all the stats and data. I love sports and good movies. But I spent the first 2 days watching Disney movies. The color and clarity are unbelievable. Go for it you will not be disappointed.

We bought this set last month after several months of research, we could'nt be more happy. The picture is the best I've seen in a 52 inch LCD and the audio is right up there as well. I'm very confident we made a wise choice.
