Digital camera reviews of Samsung LNS3251D 32-Inch LCD HDTV

Digital camera Review: SAMSUNG
Summary: 4 Stars

TV ARRIVED SAFELY - PICTURE NOT AS CLEAR AS I WOULD LIKE BUT OTHERWISE IT IS A VERY NICE TELEVISION

Digital camera Review: Absolutely a great LCD...
Summary: 5 Stars

My review will pretty much echo the majority of other reviews here. I have my Xbox 360 connected via VGA and the picture is AWESOME! I don't have any issues with shadows or anyting of that matter. I did a ton of research before I selected this TV - more than I would rather discuss. I would definitely recommend this TV to anyone looking for an LCD at a good price.

Digital camera Review: For DVDS, Great. For average TV watching, bleeeccchhh!
Summary: 4 Stars

Hooked up to digital cable, and watching the channels you watch the most, this TV delivers worse performance than my old picture tube Sony. That's what you don't quite realize amid all the hype about these pricey flat-screen models. About 95 percent of your viewing is going to be of broadcasts that look pretty lousy if you are an average cable-TV watcher.

Hooked up to a good DVD player via HDMI, then you will see why these TVs make some people happy. The picture is fantastic. However, if you don't watch a lot of DVDs, then save your money and keep your old TV. Don't succumb to the advertising hype and peer pressure.

I haven't tried watching HDTV via cable because I dont want to pay the cable company extra. I could hook it up to my own antenna, but then I'd have ugly wires running around. I'm told this works to receive the local channels in HD. I'll get around to it someday, maybe. I'm not a huge fan of network TV, so I'm in no rush.

Also, the remote is pretty awful. Sluggish, just as everyone else notes. The TV takes forever to respond.

All in all, if I knew then what I know now, I think I might have skipped buying this thing and stuck with my perfectly good CRT Sony which I bought just 4 years ago for $400.

Until all TV is in HD, you might want to save your cash.

Digital camera Review: Great.
Summary: 5 Stars

This is my first HDTV and I have to say that it was an excellent choice. Everything I throw at it looks good. I have my Xbox 360 with HD DVD player hooked to it connected via VGA and the picture is phenomenal. I also have a region-free dvd player (for watching foreign movies, I wish the Xbox 360 was region-free) connected to it via component cables and the picture there is sweet too. Darks are dark, you can see it from any viewing angle and is extremely easy to configure. The design is stylish too imo. Overall an excellent buy.
