We bought this model in February from Best Buy, and a couple of months later it starting making a loud high pithed ringing noise and also seemed to get very hot. We called Best Buy and they sent a repair person from out of town (3 hours away). They took the set and won't have it back to us for at least 3 weeks. Best Buy won't give us a loaner tv, so we're stuck without our tv. This set definitely needs to be recalled. I couldn't recommend this set to anyone. i had my tv since March (4 months) and its a complete piece of junk. after turning on the tv for about 5 minutes it starts a "humming" sound that gets so loud that its impossible to listen to the tv. i called for service and no one has even responded. I bought the Samsung LNT3253H 32 inch lcd tv and found that after only a few months, the TV whistles so loudly it sounds like a tea pot. The picture is great, but the annoying noise coming from the back of the TV is awful. I'm sending it back. Hold off on buying this model until a fix is made.
