Bought this camera for my daughter's 13th birthday. Purchased a pink one for her 11 year old sister as well with 2Gb cards too. They love the video function of the camera. Wasn't long they were making home videos and playing them back for everyone. It takes 2 AA batteries which seem to last pretty long. The delay time from picture to picture is a little longer than I would like but it seems okay for them. Also the picture delay from when you press the button to the actual picture taken is okay, could be a little faster too. The image stabilization seems good given the skill of the kids.
Would highly recommend this camera for a great entry level digital camera.

I bought this camera last summer (08). This was my first digital camera and I didn't do much research so I really lucked out! I picked it up on impulse when it was on sale. The color I purchased is different than the current offerings; mine is bright blue. After owning this camera for over a year and using it several times a week I still have nothing but positive things to say about it. The LCD display is sharp and crisp both for image capturing and reviewing. I love being able to zoom in and out on my pictures in the camera. I also love being able to zoom out to 9 pictures at a time to be able to scroll through my many pictures more quickly. Even when we have had a few drinks, we still manage to take great pictures. It is so easy to use! It seems to not have a huge appetite for batteries even though I use it so much. I don't use it for anything too fancy just lots of fun snapshots so if that is what you are looking for I think it is a wonderful camera at a very affordable price.Digital camera Review: It's for my kid's Birthday

I had absolutely no problem with this camera. I started to shake in my boots a bit when I saw the bad reviews AFTER i had ordered the product and what concerned me the most was the fact that the bad reviews of the product were all made in the recent months while the best comments were made last year all around the same time. It made me wonder if the camera was on sale only to get rid of the set of cameras that were known to be botched products. My worst fear was the problems that were reported in regards to the lens not shutting. I can say happily that I have had no problems with that at all.
The camera is the perfect weight and size and I was impressed with the images that were taken. I have issues with my images coming out blurry a lot of the times but i think I just need to practice some more. Overall I feel it is a great product
