My original 40 mb card became damaged and I went to our local camera dealer to purchase a replacement. They told me the item was all but obsolete and all they were able to offer was an 8 mb card for 59.95. They further said that they were unable to order any of these cards as they were out of production. I thought this odd because while my camera is not a 5.1 mega pixel it is a 1.3 and takes excellent pictures. To my surprise I found their information to be incorrect and ordered two of the 128 mb cards immediately. At my normal setting my camera will take 587 pictures on one card. This is a virtually obsolete product but I was able to find it at a good price through AMAZON. Inly gripe: it is the size of a large postage stamp but cam in a shoe box size carton. Not very efficient packaging.Digital camera Review: A good buy

After wasting time and gas trying to locate a replacement SmartMedia Memory Card at a few local camera and big box stores, I decided to head for Amazon. Based on past experience with other purchases, this should have been my first move. Within a click or two, Shoptronics was online with exactly what I needed and the capacity I was looking for. I had pretty much given up hope this product was still available. It fits perfectly in card bay...and now I'm good to go for another plesurable vacation. Price was great and delivery in 4-5 days.

Susan had been searching everywhere for these Smart Media cards, and could not find any that were affordable, let alone find that many of them. After a difficult lesson of finding out you cannot reformat the cards using the computer, they can only be reformatted in the camera,We had a horrible time finding new cards. We could find 8mg cards after a lot searching, but those aren't large enough. So, we were pleasantly surprised to find the 128 MG Smart Media card for her Olymmpus camera at Shoptronics, through Amazon. I can't tell you my surprise at how quickly we received it! This card will make her picture taking this holiday season all the more memorable at a price we can afford. We highly recommend Shoptronics to everyone, they are awesome!
