The SanDisk Extreme III was purchased for the Canon G-7. The price was right especially since there was a $10 rebate. I use the memory card at a wedding and it worked perfectly. I haven't tested it in extreme condition but will expect to this winter when I go skiing. I've own mostly SanDisk Ultras and Extremes and have not had any problem with any of them in all of my cameras and have used them in my winter vacations.Digital camera Review: Secure Digital Memory being the operative words!

I just returned from my once-in-a-lifetime trip to Nepal and India. Being a first-time digital camera user, I was nervous about taking pictures and saving them for later use. Doing exhaustive research, first on the camera, then on memory cards, I finally decided on my Canon Powershot IS3 and SanDisk's Extreme III SD Memory Card. And it did everything I hoped and now on my 2nd round of pictures, it is still working great. It did not exceed my expectations and was fairly expensive, but after reading all of the cautions about SD cards malfunctioning, I am very happy to have all of my 500 pictures and the card cost seems to be a type of insurance well paid.
