Digital camera Review: "Mighty" player for it's size

I read many user reviews before deciding on the Scandisk 1G player. I didn't want to be a "hostage" to ITunes, needed an independent power source, and ease of use. The FM tuner is great at the gym to listen to TV or radio.
Pros:
-Replaceable battery, not internal one which eventually dies.
-FM tuner ( tuner reception can be increased/decreased )
-Lightweight and small
-Excellent sound quality
-No hard-drive
-Plug and play and drag and drop ease
-Not 'hostage' to specific "tunes" software, like ITunes, etc.
-Can use like a flash drive if needed for "non-music" files.
-Nice display
-Easy to use ( for those who disagree, read the manual )
-Left or right hand use. ( not sure if the display can rotate )
-Shuffle or ordered play. ( see manual )
-ID3 tag or filename in display.
If the tag is missing, the filename displays
Cons:
-Headphones provided are not good. Invest in a good pair.
I have not used the 'voice recorder' so I cannot speak for that.
Complaints from other users:
"Volume fades in and out at the beginnings/ends of songs automatically." This can be changed. See "fade" setting.
"The player seems to be resisting further downloads at about 650mb." Re-format using FAT32. Not sure why unit is shipped without this but I encountered the same problem. I have not used the provided MusicMatch software but perhaps that fixes problem as well.
