Digital camera reviews of SanDisk 1 GB MicroSD Card (SDSDQ-1024-A10M, US Retail Package)Digital camera Review: Great Product for the money Summary: 5 Stars
The SanDisk 1 GB MicroSD Card works great in my LG phone. I purchased it along with the SanDisk SDDR-103 MobileMate SD+ 5-in-1 Mobile Reader, and have no problems transferring my pictures from my phone to my laptop, and MP3s to my phone, via the USB reader. The MicroSD card comes with the MiniSD adapter, so connecting it to the reader is a breeze, and transfers are quick, when using a USB2.0 connection. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for an alternate solution to the proprietary cables sold for most picture/MP3 capable cell phones.
Digital camera Review: Great Purchase for the Price Summary: 5 Stars
Why pay the cell phone store prices when you can get your memory here. Works great, free shipping, what more could one want? When I want to upgrade to 2 GB's I'll buy here.
Digital camera Review: Great card for your phone Summary: 5 Stars
I got this card when I got my new Sprint Fusiac phone. Now my mp3's fit and it's great.
Digital camera Review: Great enhancement to cell phone Summary: 5 Stars
I got this memory chip for my new Alltel Motorola e815 in August 2006. It's remarkably small - about the size and thickness of a fingernail. I thought I would have to format the chip, but it "read" immediately on installation. I also feared it might protrude from the top of the phone, making it impossible to use the belt clip, but again, no prob. I mostly use it to record video when I go on business trips so I can take greetings from old friends (and their pets!) and travelogues back to show my wife. Of course, I had to go into the phone's menu to change the max length of videos to unlimited since it comes defaulting to 15 seconds.
When I get home, I Bluetooth the video files into my Mac and create a quick movie with subtitles and chapters with HD Movie, then burn it onto a DVD with iDisc to show her the show on our 40" TV. Remarkably, even though the video is pixelly and often blurs with too fast a pan, it's a lot of fun to watch, especially if I've soundtracked a travelogue with the Talking Heads "Take Me to the River" or something. For example, yesterday I had a free afternoon at the Valley of Fire outside Las Vegas, today back in North Carolina I cut a 10 minute DVD video out of about 20 clips and we were able to watch it this afternoon. One caution for those of you with Verizon - they force Motorola to disable the phone's Bluetooth so it only communicates with headphones unless you buy their Motorola Tools (unnecessay with Alltel's version, which is fully capable).
