Digital camera Review: Blackberry 8900 Upgrade -- Rocks!

I replaced the 2GB chip in my Blackberry 8900 with this 16GB chip. I'm not too big on photos or videos on the BB because the screen is too small. Music is the reason I bought so much memory. I have over 2,000 songs with a few GB to spare for general file transportation.
The good thing about memory is that it always gets bigger and cheaper. At the time, this was exactly what I wanted.

Was using it in my new Samsung Behold II. Worked for a while, then nothing. Everything on the card, completely gone! All my pictures, music, videos, etc. I reformatted it, then transfered my files over again (which took quite a while, by the way). It worked for another day or two, then....gone!!! I received a brand new Windows Phone 7 a couple weeks ago and could not figure out for the life of me how to get music to sync with my phone. I looked through every article and forum that I could find regarding this issue. I knew my phone did not have a memory card, so I tried one from my old phone, and of course, it did not work. The card has to be "Microsoft Certified"! Try finding a card that is Microsoft Certified. There isn't one! Anyway, I took a shot, and this one works. Costs $99 at Best Buy or AT&T store. It costs less than $20 on Amazon.com. My phone now syncs music from my computer, and I saved $80!Digital camera Review: Bummer...

It worked nice until it failed. I used this 16 GB card in my Touch Pro2 phone on a daily basis. My 2 cameras and 3 PCs won't recognize this card anymore. Thanks the technology all files and pics were backed up on the HDD. Fifty bucks are gone and now I have to buy another storage card. There are so many reasons for SD cards failure and no manufacturer is safe in this regard. Anyway I will try some other maker after reading bad reviews about SanDisk 16 gb. Too bad that there is not so much variety on 16GB micro sds.
