I normally use SanDisk Ultra II cards. Tried these cards and they are noticeably faster. The only down side is the SanDisk card reader I have will not read cards over 1 gigabyte so I cannot take advantage of the higher read speed.
This card's speed increase is not as big a change as going from a standard card to the Ultra II card. I'm not sure the extra cost is worth it. If I could take advantage of the potential down load speed it might be worth while to spend the extra money for this card.

I am rather dissapointed with the Extreme III. I bought it for my Kodak EasyShare C713 because with my previous SD card there was a several second delay between photos. I was hoping this 20MB/s would do the trick but it still takes a long time for the photo to process before you can take another. These SanDisk Extreme cards do just what they advertise. I have had great success both with their speed as well as getting them to work time after time. I don't think I have had to reformat any of them that I own (3) yet. I recommend them.Digital camera Review: Does what it's supposed to do

Bought this card for my Nikon D40 digital camera and it has performed flawlessly thus far. I have been able to take continuous photos at fairly fast speeds although this is partially a function of the camera as well as the card so it's hard to say here.
Buying from Amazon allowed me to save a lot of money from retail stores, some of whom are charging almost $70 for this item.

We bought this to use on a canon sd600 and it opens up the functionality in wonders. Great card and fast transfer rates what else could you expect! Perfect!
